Why 10DLC Registration Is Required
U.S. carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon) require every business that sends Application-to-Person (A2P) SMS from a standard 10-digit long code (10DLC) to register their Brand and Campaign through The Campaign Registry (TCR). Unregistered traffic is heavily throttled or blocked and may incur carrier fines.
Step 1 — Register Your Brand
- Legal company name exactly as it appears on tax documents
- EIN / Tax ID (US) or equivalent business registration number
- Business address, website, and support contact
- Vertical / industry classification
Step 2 — Register Your Campaign
- Use case: e.g. Customer Care, Marketing, 2FA, Mixed
- Sample messages: at least two representative texts
- Opt-in flow: describe and show how contacts consent (web form, checkbox, keyword). You must be able to prove consent.
- Opt-out language: include “Reply STOP to unsubscribe” and honor STOP automatically.
- Help language: “Reply HELP for help.”
Step 3 — Record Your Campaign ID
Once approved, enter your 10DLC Campaign ID under Company Settings → Compliance Checklist and check “10DLC campaign registered.”
Compliance Requirements
- Never message contacts who have not opted in.
- Honor STOP / opt-out immediately (SalesFury suppresses automatically).
- Respect quiet hours (before 8am / after 9pm local time).
- Keep proof of consent for every recipient.
