Automated Activity Reports by Email

Updated October 16, 2026

What arrives

A per-user table of calls out, calls in, missed calls, voicemails, emails and SMS, with a totals row and a headline count in the subject line — so you can read the important part from the notification without opening the mail.

Anyone who logged no activity at all is highlighted in red and counted in a summary line underneath. That is usually the single most useful line in the report.

Turning it on

Admins choose a cadence in Settings → 📞 Automated Reports:

Send to managers too extends it to managers, but only those with the View reports permission. Emailing someone a report they are not cleared to open in the app would be a leak, not a convenience.

Always the previous complete period

A weekly report sent on Monday covers last week, not the few hours of this one. A partial period compared against full ones makes every trend look like a collapse, and people stop trusting the report.

Weeks run Monday to Sunday. Months are real calendar months, not a rolling 30 days, so month-on-month comparisons are like for like.

The numbers match the page

The email is built by the same code as 📊 User Activity in the sidebar, so the two can never disagree. Every email links to that page for the same period, where you get the remaining columns — notes, tasks, contacts added, deals created, won and lost, revenue and win rate — plus sorting, team filtering and CSV export.

Only calls and emails are in the email itself. A thirteen-column table is unreadable on a phone, and nobody scrolls one sideways.
