The problem this solves
A rep with an empty queue stops dialing, and nobody notices for a fortnight. By the time it surfaces in a report, you have already lost the activity. Low lead alerts catch it the morning it happens.
Turning it on
Admins configure this in Settings → 📉 Low Lead Alerts:
- Lead Threshold — alert when a rep has fewer than this many workable leads. Default 20.
- Notify admins & managers — the in-app notification. On by default.
- Email the alert too — also send it by email. Off by default.
What counts as a workable lead
Contacts assigned to the rep that are not won, lost or dead. Counting closed business would let someone who has just cleared their entire book look busy — which is precisely the person you need to hear about.
Who gets counted
Active sales reps, members and managers. Owners and admins are skipped: they often hold a handful of accounts for their own reasons, and flagging the owner for having three contacts is noise, not signal. A rep with zero leads is always included.
Who gets told
Owners and admins always. Managers are included only if they have the View all contacts permission — a manager who cannot see the book cannot fix the problem.
How often
Once each morning. You get one notification listing everybody who is short, not one per rep, so a team with five thin queues does not produce five badges.
When an alert fires
Assign more leads, or reassign from someone who is over-stocked. Bulk assignment from the Contacts list is usually fastest — see Assigning Contacts & Ownership.
