Why you want this
Leads get flagged dead from several places — the power dialer, the softphone call log, and the FTC Do-Not-Call scrub. Without notifications those write-offs are invisible until someone happens to open the dead list, and a rep burning through their queue looks identical to a rep working it.
In-app notifications
In Settings → 💀 Dead List Settings:
- Notify contact owner — tell the rep their lead was written off. Off by default.
- Notify admins & managers — tell supervisors. On by default. Managers only receive these if they have the View dead list permission; notifying someone about a page they cannot open is just noise.
Whoever performed the action is skipped — they just did it — and so is the contact's owner, who gets their own message instead of two.
Email digests
Set Email digest to Daily or Weekly (Mondays) to send the same supervisors a summary each morning: a per-owner breakdown and a table of every lead written off, with who owned it and when it was flagged.
Nothing is sent when there is nothing to report. A "0 leads today" email every morning is the fastest way to train a team to ignore the sender.
Reading the breakdown
The per-owner counts are the useful part. One rep accounting for most of the write-offs usually means a list quality problem or a coaching problem, not a dead market — and it is far easier to see in a digest than by scrolling the dead list.
