Contact Import Assignment
When importing contacts via CSV, admins and managers can control how imported contacts are assigned to team members.
Assignment Options
- Assign to me — All imported contacts are assigned to you (default)
- Assign to a specific user — Choose a team member to receive all imported contacts
- Round-robin split — Contacts are evenly distributed across all organization members in rotation
How Round-Robin Works
When round-robin is selected, contacts are assigned one-by-one to each user in your organization, cycling through the list. For example, with 3 users and 9 contacts, each user gets 3 contacts.
Who Can Use This
Only admins and managers see the assignment options. Regular users' imports are always assigned to themselves.
