Scheduling Emails to Send Later

Updated August 17, 2026

Why schedule

An email written at 11pm and sent at 11pm lands at the bottom of an inbox by morning. Scheduling lets you write when you have time and send when your prospect is actually at their desk.

How to schedule

  1. Go to Email → Compose and write your message as normal.
  2. Tick 🕒 Schedule for later.
  3. Pick a quick preset. These are grouped as Soon (30 minutes to 4 hours), Today and Tomorrow (every hour through the working day), and Later (next weekday, next Monday, a week, a fortnight, a month).
  4. Or use 📅 Or pick any date & time to choose any date from the calendar and any time in 15-minute steps, up to a year ahead.
  5. Click Schedule Email.

Time zones

Times are always shown and entered in your organization's time zone, which is displayed directly under the field. You do not need to convert anything.

What happens next

A background job checks for due mail every five minutes, so a message scheduled for 10:00 goes out between 10:00 and 10:05. Scheduled emails appear in the email list with a Scheduled status until they are sent.

The 24-hour safety net

If the server is unavailable for a long stretch, SalesFury will not quietly send a pile of stale mail once it recovers. Anything more than 24 hours overdue is marked Failed with an explanation, so you can decide whether it is still relevant before resending.

Compliance still applies

Scheduled mail passes through exactly the same checks as an immediate send: opt-out and Do-Not-Contact suppression, the CAN-SPAM postal address requirement, the unsubscribe footer, and one-click List-Unsubscribe headers. A scheduled message to someone who unsubscribes in the meantime will not go out.

Editing or cancelling

Scheduled mail is listed on the contact's own page under 📧 Email, with Send now, Reschedule and Cancel buttons right there. You can also open the message from the email list. Cancelling saves it back to a draft rather than deleting it.
